A free community for people who ship things
Other makers test your product. You test theirs.
Real bugs and an honest written report from people who build things too. No QA budget, no begging in subreddits.
02The problem
Real feedback is hard to get.
Before launch, the people around you are too nice, too busy, too expensive or sadly unqualified. And AI just tells you what you want to hear.
Friends are too nice.
It's hard to be fully honest with the people you love. And your best friend isn't necessarily the most qualified person to review your app.
QA costs money you don't have.
Agencies and freelancers work for teams with budgets, not for a side project that hasn't launched.
Subreddits don't answer.
No replies, if the moderator didn't delete your thread first. Nobody owes you a real look, so nobody gives one.
AI just agrees with you.
Chatbots are built to please: ask one to review your app and it will love it. It can't get lost in your onboarding on a real phone the way a person does.

03How it works
One loop, four steps.
There’s no credit system and no gate. Submitting a project is free for everyone. Testing other people’s is what gets yours seen faster.
- 1
Submit your project
A link and a few lines on what you want looked at. We pull the rest from the page.
- 2
Test someone else's
Pick one from the list, or take the one we suggest. Poke at it, write down what broke.
- 3
Get matched with testers
Every test you finish moves your own project up the queue. Submitting is always free.
- 4
Exchange feedback
Chat during the test, get a written report at the end. Rate each other when it's done.
04Why the feedback is actually good
Good tests get rewarded.
Every test is rated by the maker. That rating decides your score, your place in the queue, and who tests yours next.
| If your test was… | Rated low“Nice app!” | Rated high3 bugs + a written report |
|---|---|---|
| Your tester score | drops | goes up |
| Your project in the queue | stays where it is | moves up |
| Who tests yours next | whoever is free | testers as thorough as you |
05Pricing
Free. Pay in tests.
$0
Post your project, test a few others, and get real feedback back. You only get what you give.
| Item | Qty | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Post a project | any | $0.00 |
| Test someone else's | any | $0.00 |
| Chat + written report | per test | $0.00 |
| Moving up the queue | earned | $0.00 |
| Total | $0.00 |
The long version
Every rule, written out.
Queue weight, ratings, deadlines, what counts as a good report, what happens when someone goes quiet. All of it.

06A note from the founder
Like many others, and probably you too, I’m a solo developer trying to make it online and ship tools and apps with real value. After finishing up my first few projects, I came to realize that getting proper feedback is hard when you’re working alone or in a very small team.
Insightful feedback is invaluable but hard to get from your friends and relatives. It takes a designer to give design feedback; it takes another founder to find issues with your pricing; it takes a developer to unearth hidden bugs.
This is why I’m building Makers Wall. Here, you can find founders and indie hackers like you, in search of real and actionable feedback for their projects and ready to share their insights on yours.
