Focus on

• Sign up free and open the marketplace
• Install one package (cart recovery, first-purchase welcome, thank-you email, or a new-order Slack alert)
• Connect Shopify, plus email or Slack if that package needs it
• Turn the package on and confirm a test order shows up in the run log

Ignore

• Plans and checkout. Stay on Free. Do not pay.
• The workflow editor. Packages are meant to be installed, not rebuilt.

Known issues

• Free can keep only one package installed. Remove it before trying another.
• A package does nothing until its connections are healthy. A missing email or Slack connection should fail in the run log, not send silently.
• Use a Shopify dev store and a test inbox. A live store will email real customers.
